Catching Up: My Life, My Journey, and Why I’m Returning to Blogging

Hi! I am back!

It’s been a while, hasn’t it? In fact, I haven’t written a blog post since 2018—time really does fly! But after some life changes, personal growth, and a whole lot of learning, I’m back, and I couldn’t be more excited to reconnect with this space.

A lot has happened since I last posted here, and I thought it was time to share an update on where I’ve been and what I’ve learned along the way.

In 2018, I got married to my amazing husband, Aman, and life shifted in the most wonderful ways. Marriage has been full of growth, love, and communication—things I didn’t always know I needed but absolutely do now.

Then, in 2021, our world changed again when we welcomed our son into the world. Motherhood has been the most rewarding and humbling experience of my life. It’s hard to believe how much a little one can teach you about patience, resilience, and unconditional love. I should have read some parenting books. But honestly everything I need to know I can find on Instagram and TikTok. My son has brought so much joy and purpose into my life, and I’m constantly learning new things about both him and myself.

Alongside all the personal changes, I’ve also been focused on growing my career in clinical research. I’ve been fortunate to work in an exciting field that helps contribute to the advancement of public health, and it’s been incredibly fulfilling to be part of a team making a difference.

Balancing career and family has been a challenge, but it’s also been rewarding. I’ve learned to embrace the juggle, and I’m excited to share more about how I manage it all (spoiler alert: we are all faking it).

Over the past five years, I’ve had quite the journey with my health and fitness. I’ve lost and gained and lost 40 pounds—and through it all, I’ve learned so much about my body and what it really needs. I’ve learned that fitness is about more than just a number on the scale—it’s about feeling good, building strength, and being kind to yourself.

I can’t wait to share more about these experiences and the lessons I’ve learned along the way. This space will be a mix of life updates, personal reflections, health and fitness inspiration, motherhood moments, and of course, all the fun things that make life interesting. Whether you’re here for fitness tips, mom life advice, or just to see what’s on my mind, I’m so glad you are here with me.
